Best app on my phone. Learn Gaelic really fast. You can set it up to translate words and sentences at a single touch with Google translate. And you probably know the stories, so you've got the gist anyway.

This app has become quite irritating recently by not returning to the headlines after finishing an article, instead opening a page for "keep reading" which is nothing more than sensationalist tabloid rubbish that clearly isn't happy for you to leave. Now, despite uninstalling and reinstalling three times, it is locked on stories from three days ago. No use whatsoever. Will not be bothering again.

Why is a news app asking to access my contacts and phone calling?

A Google user

Excellent local reports. Pdf copies of the print edition. In a scrollable wrapper. For logged in users (with guest access). But does not recognise Google ID (despite billing from it).
